My Home Page: Jen Marsh
Hello! Welcome to my home page, I'm glad you
could find me! I will try to do my best to introduce you
to my exciting life of raising children and going to school.
All work and no play sucks, so I do have other hobbies of interest
that we may have in common, so if you have a minute or two
read on, my friend, and prepare to be enthralled (or repulsed)
by the life and times of Jen Marsh.
I grew up in Suburban St. Louis and was raised mostly by my mother
and stepfather. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters, all with
whom I am very close. After graduating from high school,
I decided to take a year off (big mistake, I'm still in school
at 29!!). I had more fun than should probably be allowed
for several years until I finally found my way to the Florissant
Valley Community College to start my long journey on the quest
for a higher education. That was, until I met Don, who is
now my husband, but also the reason I put my studies on hold for
several more years to plan a wedding and start a family.
I have two of the most amazing sons, and although with a 2 and
3 year old I sometimes wonder if I will maintain my sanity for
the remainder of the day, I couldn't imagine my life without them.
I must say that God has blessed me liberally, and even though
I am not what you'd call a religious person, I remember to be
thankful to him for all the blessings he's given me.
The biggest interest in my life is watching my children
grow and learn everyday. Quinton, my 3 year old,
is my loving, intelligent, and relatively quiet first child who
has taught me that every occasion is an occasion for having fun.
Then, there's Devin, my 2 year old with an angelic face,
but Satan's disposition (if you've had a two year old you will
understand). He is smart as a whip, loud as a the elephants
roar, and he has taught me patience , patience and more patience!!!
I also enjoy shopping, reading, and camping. My favorite
store is Target (I could spend hours in that store), my favorite
author is Dean Koontz (he scares the crap out of me, I love that!)
and my favorite camping spot is anywhere that I camp without traveling
more than two hours and has public restrooms!!
I also cherish the occasional evening out with my husband,
whether it be to go out to dinner and a movie, hang out at the
local tavern, or just escape from the kids for a few hours of
