Research Techniques in Biology

 

The goal of this undergraduate research program is to promote interest among our students to pursue higher degrees in biological sciences. Students interested in pursuing research are encouraged to participate through either honors program or by taking 1- or 2-credit or 3 credit hour course.  The student in this course will be introduced to lab techniques such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Histology, and Cell Culture. The student will be involved in the ongoing research project and not only participate in the lab work but also learn to compile, analyze and interpret data, prepare posters and/or manuscripts, and present in local and/or national symposia.
