SOME PRACTICE QUIZZES

Check your knowledge of the subject, take a quiz online, and get immediate feedback on how you did. It's a great way to review for the module exams.

The AAOS textbook has a great website at www.emtb.com with some interactive quizzes. Check the practice quizzes on this site.

The publisher of our EMT textbook has put together test questions for each chapter in their book. Check their site to see how another book presents the same material. .

The same publisher puts out other EMT-Basic textbooks and they also offer quizzes from their books that you may also use for practice and review. Remember, the National Registry written test doesn't take its questions from a single textbook.

Brady just recently announced:

"EMT Achieve, a one-of-a kind, online test prep product for EMT Basics, is now available.  This is a great way for students to review material and practice the types of test questions they'll have on national and state tests.

(1)  Students can purchase EMT Achive themselves for $15 (113161069 )and take four 150-question tests and then immediately see their score success broken down by each of the content areas (Airway and Breathing, Cardiology, Trauma, Medical, Obstertrics and Pediatrics, and Operations.)    There are subsets of tests and practice quizzes for further review.  In every case,  the students see the score results quickly and are given a rationale for each incorrect anwer.  If they need additional help, they can then connect to additional notes, videos, illustrations, and animations so that they can understand why an answer was wrong.

(2)  The second option would be for you, as the instructor, to order EMT Achieve as part of a text package (value pack).   You'd set yourself up as an instructor and have access to each of your student's progress.   You can have students take tests all along the way and have a bird's-eye view of their strengths and weaknesses.  Whenever you decide the students are ready to take a complete test, you can make the assigment and see the results."

Check with your instructor about the two options.

Speaking of the National Registry written test, there are a number of workbooks or study books to help you prepare for this test. There is a comprehensive list at examreviewmanuals.html
