Module 4: Finding Articles.

This module covers how to use article databases and Search It! to identify articles on a subject.

After completing this module you should be able to:

  • distinguish between popular and scholarly periodicals
  • choose an article database or Search It! as appropriate for your information need
  • use these tools to identify an article on a topic
  • use an article database's print or email function to print or send a record or a full text article to yourself
  • Use Article Linker, Journal Locator, and/or the STLCC Library Catalogs to locate the periodical that contains your article
