Printmaking classes at Forest Park focus on different areas each semester, allowing for ample time to explore various processes. The programs focus is on non-toxic printmaking methods including collagraphy, monoprints, silkscreens, non-toxic etchings, and woodcuts. There is also an opportunity to explore many newer alternative methods of printmaking including photographic and digital techniques.

The studio is a vibrant space located in the new Art Annex. Students work together in a collaborative atmosphere. Our approach to printmaking is one that honors old traditions and embraces newer contemporary applications. Everyone is welcome to take printmaking classes from those who have no experience to those who have previously used various techniques. Classes are offered in Printmaking I, II, and Advanced Printmaking.

The available equipment includes: a Takach Intaglio Press with a press bed size of 33" x 50"; a Bendini Intaglio Press with a press bed size of 27" x 40"; and, a Takach Planographic Press with a press bed size of 30" x 40".
