COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

This course is designed for students who qualify for Elementary Algebra, but whose chances for success would be greatly increased after a review of requisite topics.  The course offers a brief review of operations on whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percents, followed by an intense focus of the fundamentals and applications of ratios, geometry, signed numbers, like terms, simplifying algebraic expressions and solving basic equations.

 

 

 

 

 

COURSE PREREQUISITE:

 

Placement into MTH: 030 via Accuplacer, or completion of MTH: 020 with a grade of “C” or better.
