COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

This course is designed for students who qualify for College Algebra, but whose chances for success would be greatly increased after a review of requisite topics.  The course offers a brief review of rational expressions, exponents, roots and radicals, followed by an intense focus on functions and function notation, linear and nonlinear functions (the tool box functions), quadratic equations and inequalities and systems of equations.

 

 

 

 

 

COURSE PREREQUISITE:

 

Placement into MTH:160 via testing, or completion of MTH:140 with a grade of “C” or better.
