Grading Policy

  • Number of Tests/Quizzes

Generally I give 4-5 exams a semester. Each Monday I give a short quiz over the previous week’s work.

  • Homework Policy

Each student is required to keep a homework notebook containing all assignments. This notebook is graded on exam days.

  • Attendance Policy

Students are expected to attend all classes. If a student must miss he(she) needs to work with me, tutors, or the video tapes (available in the library) to learn the missed work.

  • Points outside of  Tests/HW such as projects

Students are assigned technology/group projects to complete in and out of class.

I incorporate real world examples and real data to make the topic interesting to students!
