Frank A. Steiner
Frank Steiner graduated from Washington University in1976 with a BFA in Graphic Communication. Frank spent more than twenty years at Maritz, Inc., as a designer and illustrator, where he created artwork for major corporations such as Anheuser-Busch, General Motors, Citicorp, Chrysler, United Airlines, Nissan/Infiniti, Shell Oil, and many others.
Frank has produced artwork for many national magazines and publishers such as Reader's Digest, Golf Illustrated, Berkley, Bantam, and Scholastic Books. His work has won numerous awards from the New York Society of Illustrators, the Los Angeles Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts Magazine and the Advertising Federation of St. Louis. Frank was chosen by the United States Olympic Committee to create artwork for the 1994 Winter Olympic Games held in Lillehammer, Norway. In 2002, he was commissioned by the United States Golf Association to produce artwork and a limited-edition print for the U.S. Senior Amateur Golf Tournament.
In the late 90's, Frank began to utilize digital media to compliment his traditional drawing and painting techniques. This led Frank to join the Orca Partnership as an art director where he worked on accounts such as True Fitness, Plaza Motors and The New England Center for Children, the nation's leading authority on the education of children with Autism. He is currently employed as a Senior Art Director at the Avala Marketing Group where he works for variety clients in the recreational marine industry including all national advertising and promotion for Sea Ray boats, the largest manufacturer of pleasure boats in the U.S.
