St. Louis Community College at Meramec
Teaches/taught college-transfer courses of Photography I, Photography II and Advanced Photography. Photo I included the basics of light, film, camera operation, darkroom developing and processing and print presentation. Photo II covers such topics as composition, low light photography, high contrast and infrared films, and techniques of multiple exposure, toning and hand coloring. The Advanced Photo class covers the Zone System, advanced darkroom techniques and individual student initiated projects.

Continuing Education, St. Louis Community College at Meramec, 1985-1990
Taught specialized one-night courses in lighting, camera selection, composition, and vacation photography.

College for Kids, Continuing Education, SLCC-Meramec, August 1984
Taught two sections of basic black and white photography for College For Kids
Program (a two-week summer program for students in 5-8th grades).

Southeastern Illinois College, Harrisburg, IL (1980 – 1983)
Taught college transfer courses in basic and advanced photography (Photography I and
Photography II). Topics covered included camera operation, composition, lighting, black-and-white darkroom techniques and special effects. Both courses were accepted by Southern Illinois University – Carbondale’s photography program.

Operates a photographic services business that specializes in portraits, commercial,
wedding, and copy and restoration photography.

Wedding/Special Events Photographer, 1985-1996
Picture This Photography Kirkwood, MO
Photographed weddings and social events on assignment for studio specializing in
weddings and portraits. Photographed per prescribed style (developed and promoted by Monte Zucker), which was marketed by the studio.

Director/Manager of Media Services, 1983 – Present
St. Louis Community College at Meramec, St. Louis, MO
Directs the campus audiovisual services. Supervises campus photography, videography,
graphic design and digital multimedia services, as well as other media services (media circulation, media systems designs, captioning services and distance learning support). Works closely with campus community relations office.


Audio Visual Specialist, 1978-1983
Southeastern Illinois College, Harrisburg, IL
Performed a variety of media circulation and media production duties, which included
color slide and black and white photography production. Photographed public relations and instructional assignments for the college. Produced a grant project which won a state excellence award for my design and technical photographs. Maintained the campus darkroom.

Media Specialist, 1974-1976
Capital Area Career Center, Mason, MI
Designed and produced instructional material for educationally challenged high school
student for a state grant. Produced 75 slide-tape sets; wrote scripts, arranged and
photographed models in business environments, narrated tapes, sub-contracted graphics
artwork, photographed flat art, and synchronized audiocassettes.

1979 Zone VI Photographic Workshop Putney, VT
Attended a ten-day workshop specializing in the theory and application of the Zone System for black and white exposure and development, conducted by Fred Picker.

1983 Friends of Photography, 1983 Fall Workshop Carmel, CA
Was selected for and attended the Fall Workshop, a four-day workshop on fine art photography, highlighted by a visit and lesson with Ansel Adams in his Carmel studio/darkroom/home.

1990 Owens Valley Southwest Workshop Chinle, AZ
Attended a seven-day workshop on fine art, landscape, and large format photography in northeastern Arizona and southeastern Utah, conducted by John Sexton and Ray MacSavanney.
