Developmentally appropriate, meaningful activities involving triangular numbers will be featured. You will learn what triangular numbers are and why they are called that and how you can provide opportunities for your students to make observations about the sequence of triangular numbers and generate a formula for the nth triangular number and how they might pop up in applications and problems.
