Hello STLCC Students,

As COVID-19 hospitalizations rise and the delta variant spreads, we have an update to share with you about St. Louis Community College’s requirements regarding masks and face coverings.

Effective immediately, the College will require all students, faculty, staff and visitors to wear masks inside at all STLCC locations. Wearing a mask while indoors with others reduces the risk of both getting and transmitting the virus.

There are limited exceptions such as removing your mask while eating or when working alone in an enclosed space.

The most effective way to protect yourself from COVID-19 is to get vaccinated. The College strongly recommends a COVID-19 vaccine.

Please continue to maintain a social distance whenever possible, wash your hands regularly, and stay at home if you are sick.

Public Health Guidance

As we have throughout the pandemic, the College will evaluate guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, OSHA and local departments of public health and will make adjustments to protocols as necessary for the health and safety of our communities. You can find up-to-date details on the College’s COVID-19 information page and the Safe Return Plan.

Please be patient as the College replaces signs on campus, updates the website and other informational materials with the changes regarding masks at STLCC.

If you have questions about our COVID-19 efforts, please send them to covid19@stlcc.edu.

Thank you for choosing STLCC for your educational and career goals, even as we face the challenges of a global pandemic. We know it hasn’t been easy, but your determination and dedication to your future is to be commended.
