I Got My Vaccine Icon in Mobile App

Hello STLCC Students,

We appreciate your patience while waiting to find out the next steps of the STLCC Vax to School Incentive Program. In August, we announced an opportunity for you to receive $100 for getting vaccinated against COVID-19 for your health and safety. The College strongly recommends a COVID-19 vaccination as an effective way to protect yourself and the community.

Please understand that the STLCC Vax to School Incentive is voluntary; if you choose to participate to receive $100, please read the details that follow carefully.
Am I eligible?

• STLCC students who have a complete COVID-19 vaccination are eligible to receive $100 deposited to their STLCC student account.

• You must be enrolled as a current STLCC student for fall 2021 semester – full-time, part-time or dual enrollment – as of Friday, Oct. 29.

• You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Friday, Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. That means you must have received both doses of a two-dose series, either Pfizer or Moderna; or a single dose of a one-dose series such as Johnson & Johnson.

• You must submit your proof of vaccination by Friday, Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. Details are listed below.

• You’ll need a Social Security or Taxpayer Identification number for compliance regulations for the student incentive payment.

How do I submit proof?

• You’ll submit proof of your complete COVID-19 vaccination with the STLCC Mobile app.

• If you don’t have a smart phone, a tablet or a computer to use the app to submit proof, you can get help in the admissions office at any STLCC campus, Monday through Friday, during regular hours.

• Incomplete proof will not be accepted.

When can I submit proof?

If you are fully vaccinated, meaning you’ve completed either a one-dose or two-dose COVID-19 vaccination, you can submit proof with the STLCC Mobile app starting today.

If you are not fully vaccinated, wait until your vaccination is complete, then submit your proof with the STLCC Mobile app. Incomplete proof will not be accepted.

How do I use the mobile app to submit proof?

• From a smart device, open the STLCC Mobile app.

• Sign in with your STLCC email and password.

• Choose the appropriate persona such as Current Student or Faculty & Staff.

• Select the ‘I got my vaccine’ icon.

• Click the Submit Verification button; verify the information on the screen.

• If the information is correct, check ‘I confirm the above information.’

• Select Step 2 for the Vaccine Verification screen; answer the questions.

• Click Choose to locate the image of your vaccination card.

• After uploading the image of your vaccination card, click Submit.

• Once the image is uploaded successfully, you’ll see a message on the screen that your submission is complete.

Check your STLCC.edu inbox for a confirmation email.

When will I receive the vaccine incentive?

• Vaccine incentives will be paid by Tuesday, Nov. 30; however, the date is subject to change.

• The incentive will be deposited to your STLCC student account with the preference you selected when you activated your OneCard.

• Generally, student incentives will not be taxed, except for non-resident alien students with a Social Security or Taxpayer Identification number and required IRS withholdings. The tax could be up to 30% but may vary depending on international agreements.

I’m not interested in the incentive payment. Do I have to do anything?

Participation in the STLCC Vax to School Incentive is voluntary. If you don’t want to receive the $100 incentive payment, do not submit your proof of vaccination.

Masks Required

The College requires all students, faculty, staff and visitors to wear masks inside at all STLCC locations. Wearing a mask while indoors with others reduces the risk of both getting and transmitting the virus.

Please maintain a social distance, wash your hands regularly, and stay at home if you are sick.

Public Health Guidance

As we have throughout the pandemic, the College will evaluate guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, OSHA and local departments of public health and will make adjustments to protocols as necessary for the health and safety of our communities. You can find up-to-date details on the College’s COVID-19 information page and the Safe Return Plan.

Thank you for your support as we continue to work together for the health and safety of our College community.

Sincerely,

Jeff L. Pittman, Ph.D.
Chancellor
