NOBLE GASES

The noble gases occupy Group VIIIA in the periodic table. They are all very low boiling gases. The members of boble gas family include helium, argon, neon, krypton and xenon. Helium is usually filled in balloons. Argon is used in welding and also in incandescent light bulbs. Neon is used to make neon signs. Krypton is used in airport runway and approach lights and xenon is used to make flash cubes in photography.
