 Right below Jerry Smith's vineyards Crowley's Ridge meets the Mississippi in a cascade of boulders that produces a unique section of river bank.
 In 1995 the Ohio river flood backed up the Mississippi and forced the water level to a record breaking 41 feet over flood stage in little Commerce. The town went under and not everyone came back to rebuild.

 A sign of hope and resilience: new buildings with flood walls. Goes to show you how stubborn people can be, I wish them luck, but I'm betting on the river.
