Florissant Valley's Literary Magazine

1. Submit essays, papers, stories, plays, and poems. All work must be original.
2. Submit your work (in duplicate, TWO copies of each work) typed double-spaced on 8.5x 11-inch white paper. 
3. Do not include a cover or title page. On your first page center your title and type your name under the title.  Your title must not have underlining or quotation marks.
4. Include TWO identical discs with your typed copy. Typed copies will not be returned. Discs will be returned on or before May 15.

   a. All discs must have a label with your name, address, and title of work(s) submitted. 

   b. More than one work can be on a disc.

   c. Disc must be done in Microsoft word, saved as text only.

   d. High Density McIntosh Disc is preferred.

5. You should hit the return key only between paragraphs unless your work is poetry. After period put ONE space (not two).
6. Put your typed copy and your discs in a manila envelope addressed to Dr. Karen Kalinevitch/ Voyageur/Communications South Office.  You may drop these submissions off at the office.
7. Only students whose works are accepted will be notified.
8. You retain legal COPYRIGHT of your material if you publish under your own name. If you publish under a pen name, you run a very high risk of losing your copyright.
   This form completed and signed must accompany any work that you submit.
   

I have reviewed my submission with a faculty member or Writing Center Tutor and made all necessary punctuation and grammatical changes suggested by that faculty member or tutor.
 
       The attached piece is my own original work, and I understand plagiarism.
