The outline of a grave was observed in the room immediately to the left (north) of the haikal. Careful excavation found no evidence of human bone, but did contain a broken fragment of a stone box used to hold communion bread.


Broken fragments of a limestone panel found in the grave fill. The absence of a body can be interpreted as evidence that body was moved before the church was abandoned.
