point from square 50 locus 24. The shape
of the arrowpoint is identical to Medieval drawings of Mongol arrowpoints.
This arrowpoint was discovered during 1994 by Sharon Doerre.
An corroded iron arrowpoint from square 77, locus 13. The shape
of the arrowpoint is identical to numerous examples
from Medieval castle sites in Syria.
The arrowhead was discovered during 1994 by Neathery Fuller.
Two kohl sticks, approximately 15 cm.in length, found discarded
in the pottery kiln in the Area 6 market. Kohl sticks were used
to apply eye makeup. Both artifacts were manufactured out of bronze
and decorated with ornaments (the bird design is the most obvious
on the specimen from square 63, locus 16). Discovered during 1994 by Carol
Stevens.
