
Light Green Ware jar with molded decoration dating to the Ayyubid
Period. The decoration on the jar's shoulder is the design of a
bird (probably a peacock) within entwined circles. This vessel was
found in a shop along the east side of the market in square 40, locus 07.
Mold made vessels like this were probably not produced at Tuneinir;
they may have been manufactured in Raqqa or Mosul.
It was discovered
by Sharon Doerre during the 1994 excavation season. Scale in centimeters.

This vessel was discovered in Square 50, Locus 18.
