Castello Normano, Sicily

Iron hardware on door to castle chapel. Studs measure 5.5 x 5.5 cm.

Fresco on the south wall of the chapel is badly faded and defaced. It appeared to
me that it might be the legs of Christ, Virgin Mary, and various saints. The
Guidebook reports that the wall painting related to the relics of Saint Agata
being transported to the castle from Constantinople.
