Wilson (1933:43-44) cataloged this textile as no. 110 and bracketed its date from AD 395 to 457 based upon coins. She described it as a :bag of green, yellow and red wool knited in narrow stripes, embroidered with yellow wool in diagonal lines, so as to make an diamond pattern."

She described it as a "dark blue bag with narrow red strip an embroidered in an elaborate pattern with red and yellow yarn."

Wilson (1933:35, plage VIII.85) cataloged this textile as no. 85 and bracketed its date from the fourth or fifth century to AD 460. She described it as "fragment of wool fabric, natural color, with a wide tapestry-woven strip of dark purple, having as a border a crude wave pattern. Stripe worked with fine linen thread in broken lines, giving a chechered pattern."

Tapestry textile reg. no. 0000.01.3054. Color Dyes Identified off white/lightly yellowed (465), off white/lightly yellowed (465), dark purple/red (WUYO) and pale beige (OISH). Fiber Content is wool and flax. There are rows of linen yarn used to make patterns within the tapestry, some as weft-wrapping. The tapestry is badly damaged but may have been an eight pointed star with large and small circles at the edges. Wilson (1933:31) cataloged this textile as no. 70 and bracketed its date from AD 275 to the fifth century based upon coin evidence. She described it as an "elaborate finely woven planel, star-shaped formed by two overlapping squares."

She described it as an "oval of tapestry woven into a brown woolen fabric. Surounding th edesign is a border of red with scalloped edge and scrols o undyed wool."

She described it as a "fine closely woven yellow fabric with a double tapestry-woven band in blue."

She described it as a large tapestry-woven oval with dark purple thread. A design (now indistinct) was outlined inside the oval with fine linen thread.

She described it as a "dark purple roundel woven into a web of yellow cloth. The roundel is covered by an interlacing strap design with a rosette center and cable border, all of linen."

She described it as a "fragment of a linen panel, with a tapestry woven design in dark purple wool. Main design a circle enclosing four vases and floral sprays in radiating arrangement."

She described it as a tapestry-woven band of linen with the design in colored wool. Wilson (1933:32-3, Plate VI.76) cataloged this textile as no. 76 and bracketed its date from the Late Third or fourth century AD. She described it as a "red or red-purple wool (probably faded) woven on linen warps in bundles of four. There is an olverlaid design of rosettes and interlaced patterns."

She described it as a fragment of very fine etapestry weaving with purple wool on linen warps. In each oval is a human figure; this is the only design with a human figure in the entire collection" from Karanis.
