The Little Osage Site (23SA3) is situated on a high terrace along the Missouri River in Saline County, Missouri. Excavations were conducted at the site in 1939, 1940 and 1941 and published by Professor Chapman in 1959. He dated the occupation at the site from AD 1727 to 1777.
