Rock Art at Indian Cave, Nebraska


Several dozen petroglyphs are protected within Indian Cave State Park which is situated 10 miles south of Brownville, Nebraska. One petroglyph that shows a spirit Bison with a heartline design extending from its mouth to its heart.

Faint petroglyphs including two box shapes filled with X - designs. Another design is a large animal's head - possibly a horse. The design on the left side of the image may be a flat boat.
