Glass and buttons from
the First State Capitol (23SC678).

Brown glass bottle neck. Inner rim diameter of 1.7 cm. and
exterior maximum diamter of 3.0 cm. Weight = 32.5 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in
square 3, arbitrary layer 4 (30 to 40 cm. below surface).

Rimsherd to a glass bowl with pressed designed decoration.
Rim thickness equals 4 mm. and the fragment weighs 7.7 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation
in square 2, arbitrary layer 3 (20 to 30 cm. below surface).
Crystal prism to a chandelier with cut and drilled
designs. The glass is perfectly colorless. Length = 5.2 cm, width = 2.2 cm. and thickness = 0.8 cm.
Weight equals 14 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in square 9 at a depth of 10 to
20 cm. below surface.

Neck and rim to a bottle. Inner diameter is 0.9 cm
and outer rim diamter is 2.5 cm. Weight = 9.7 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in square
8 in arbitrary layer 2 (10 to 20 cm. below surface).

Two narrow neck bottle fragments of bottles.
Left example has an Inner diameter is 0.9 cm
and outer rim diamter is 1.6 cm. Weight = 7.7 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in square
8 in arbitrary layer 2 (10 to 20 cm. below surface).
Right example has an Inner diameter is 0.9 cm
and outer rim diamter is 1.7 cm. Weight = 8.5 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in square
2 in arbitrary layer 1 (0 to 10 cm. below surface).

Left: Damaged circular bone button with 5 holes. Measures
16 mm. in diameter and weighs 0.05 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in square 17 in
arbitrary layer 2 (10 to 20 cm. below surface).
Right: Oval shaped bone button with 4 holes. Measures 9 by 11 mm. and
weighs 0.04 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in square 15 at a depth of 20 to 30 cm. below
surface.

Left: Circular metal (copper?) button with raised
decorative pattern. Measures 12 mm. in diameter and
weighs 0.06 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in square 17 at a depth of 20 to 30 cm. below
surface.
Right: Circular glass button with 4 holes and brown patterned
decoration. Measures 10 mm. in diameter
and weights 0.04 grams. Found by the SLCC excavation in square 17 in
arbitrary layer 3 (10 to 20 cm. below the surface).
