Khatm Malaha Petroglyphs, United Arab Emerites

Two boulders decorated with petroglyphs are on display in the Al Ain National Museum of the United Arab Emerites. Al Tikriti (2011:9) reports that he collected these two boulders from the well-known site of Khatm Malaha that is situated between the UAE and Omani border posts.


A small boulder is decorated with a single petroglyph of what may be a wild ass. Scale is 10 cm.



The larger boulder is decorated with several petroglyphs that may represent wild asses. Scale is 10 cm.
