Glass bottle from Tomb 20 discovered during the 1935 excavation season in the Nailidja (231 - T20) area. Dark green glass. Height = 9.4 cm, base diameter = 4.3 cm., rim diameter = 3.3 and thickness = 0.4 cm. Reg. no. 5125 - G157. Glass bottle from Tomb 5 discovered during the 1935 excavation season in the Nailidja (231) area. Pale green glass. Height = 10.1 cm, base diameter = 1.7 cm., and rim diameter = 2.1 cm. Glass finger ring excavated 1937 from Area I7; it was found as excavatin dirt was being dumped. Reg. no. AI336 - G 235. Diameter of the ring is 1.4 cm and is 4 mm in thickness. Dark blue glass bracelet of the size for a child excavated in 1936 from a tomb (exact number not recorded) in Area 16P- IV. Diameter = 3.9 cm and thickness = 3 mm. Reg. no. 5990 - G186. Small glass bottle found at the pavement layer during 1938 in trench 11 in excavation area 13-R North at Antioch on the Orontes. Dull green glass in color. Height = 4.5 cm, rim diameter = 2.3 cm, body diameter = 4.0 cm and base diameter = 3.2 cm. Reg. no. b718 - G263. Light green glass bottle found during 1938 in excavation area S-18-J in the soil deposits above the mosaic and walls. Height = 3.2 cm and rim diameter = 2.4 cm. This is thicker and heavier glass than typical Roman/Byzantine glass, but it was found in association Late Roman C and earlier pottery sherds. Reg. no. b620 - G261. Tiny glass bottle found immediatley above the Medieval cement and marble floor during 1938 in trench 2 in excavation area S-19-H at Antioch on the Orontes. Clear glass with oxidation. Seven small glass bottles from along the East foundation during 1938 in trench 2 in excavation area S-19-H at Antioch on the Orontes. Clear glass with a slight greenish tint where the glass is thicker. Average height is 8.5 cm and base diameter is 3.5 cm. Reg. no. b510 - G257a-g. Base of small molded glass bowl from the surface to 2.0 meters during 1938 in trench 7 in excavation area 13-R/N at Antioch on the Orontes. Light green glass. The base measures 7.5 cm in diameter. Found in the same soil deposit as Medieval glazed pottery sherds and a Medieval lamp. Reg. no. b252 - G 249. Small millefiori glass bowl fragment the surface during 1938 in trench 7 in excavation area 13-R/N at Antioch on the Orontes. Green background with "flowers" formed from rods of green, purple, blue and white rods. The rim measures 5 cm in diameter and the height is 2 cm. Found in the same soil deposit as a stamped tile, Late Roman C sherds, and a Byzantine oil lamp. Reg. no. b248 - G 248. Glass bottle from the Daphne-Harbie suburb area of Antioch; a purchased artifact during the 1935 field season. Height = 9.5 cm, maximum diameter = 5.4 cm., base diameter = 2.8 cm and rim diameter = 3.2 cm. Reg. no. P5309-G158. Glass bottle from tomb 5 at Mailidja area 231 during the 1935 field season at Antioch. Height = 6.5 cm, maximum diameter = 6.4 cm, neck diameter = 1.7 cm, and rim diameter = 3.1 cm. Rimsherd of a glass cup with cut design discovered during the 1938 excavation season in area DH-27-0. Specific notes indicate that it was between rooms B12a and B12b. Rim diameter = 9 cm and maximum body diameter = 11.2 cm. This artifact was found in associated with Late Roman A pottery sherds and lamp fragments typical of the 3rd and 4th century AD. Bodysherd of a glass cup with applied threads of colored glass discovered in unstratified debris at a depth of 60 cm to 100 cm in trench 4 during the 1938 excavation season in area 3 - R. The applied glass threads are dark amber color and the body of the vessel was clear glass with a slight tinge of green. Maximum diameter = 4.4 cm. This artifact was found in associated with Late Roman C pottery sherds, a Byzantine lamp and a Medieval lamp. Reg. no. b5 - G237. Glass bottle discovered below mosaic of B5 in Room B14 during the 1938 excavation season in area DH-27-0. Clear glass with a light green tinge; oxidized. Height = 13.4 cm, maximum diameter = 7.0 cm, and neck diameter = 2.3 cm. This artifact was found in associated with Late Roman B and Late Roman C pottery sherds. Reg. no. b141 - G242. Glass bottle discovered inside of tomb 4 in area 16P - the East cemetery. The base has a very high kick that cuts down the volume potential of the vessel. Height = 6.9 cm, body diameter = 4 cm and neck diameter = 1 cm. The neck rim is missing. Reg. no. 5994 - G187. Fragment of a glass bowl/cup from the surface of excavation area 16 PV during the 1936 field season at Antioch on the Orontes. The glass color is blue and the decoration consists of gold leaf applied to both inside and outside and design applied in ink? Height = 4.7 cm, body diameter = 3.6 cm and wall thickness = 0.3 cm. Found with Roman oil lamps and pottery sherds. Height = 34.5 cm, maximum body diameter = 6.5 cm and rim diameter = 4 cm. Reg. no. b369 - G255.
