Significant amounts of salt have appeared in Area 11 after the
excavation area was covered with water during the Spring of 2004.

It was surprising that very few pottery sherds and no bone
fragments were visible in the eroded Area 11 excavation squares. This very significant
portion of the site (including the martyr burials) would appear as very non-significant
based upon what had washed out during the Spring of 2004.
