Textile (reg. no. 1929.487) - remains of geometric pattern in pile notes (xxx:49). Undyed wool war (4 to 5 threads per cm.), weft of undyed wood (9 threads per cm) and pile of red, blue and tan wool.



Textile (reg. no. 1929.489) - Two fragments of a child's tunic with portion of purple clavus and double sleeve band. Clavus emds in arrow head and sprouts remains of a stepped pyramid on the shoulder. Undyed wool warp (9 threads per cm), undyed woold weft (36 threads per cm) and purple dyed wool weft (44 threads per cm). Found in Tower 1.



Textile (reg. no. 1929.489) - Two fragments of a child's tunic with double purple clavi (1.0 - 1.2 cm. wide) and .5 cm apart. Clavus ends in arrowhead and sprouts remains of a stepped pyramid on the shoulder. Undyed wool warp (7 to 11 threads per cm), undyed wool weft, and purple weft (36 threads per cm).

Textile (reg. no. 1933.489) - Textile with shaded bands. Undyed wool warp (10 threads per cm), undyed wool weft (28 to 20 threads per cm) and shaded brown (6 combinations) wool weft (28 to 30 threads per cm). The decorative band is termed a double-wave pattern.



Textile (reg. no. 1933.490) - Tan wool warp (9 to 10 threads per cm) and wool weft (30 threads per cm) in tan, purple, red (madder), green, and light green. Pattern is described and double-wave.

Textile (reg. no. 1933.495) - buff colored wool warp (12 threads per cm) and dyed wool weft (36 to 38 threads per cm) in buff-pink and blue-grey (indigo). Four petaled flowers and double volutes with filler.



Textile (reg. no. 1933.504) - undyed wool warp (11 threads per cm), undyed wool weft (40 threads per cm), and purple (madder on indigo) dyed weft (40 threads per cm). Fragments of two purple bands terminated in arrow heads with a third arrow passing between them. Found in Embankment L7.

Textile (reg. no. 1933.506) - Undyed wool warp (15 threads per cm), undyed wool weft (32 threads per cm), and purple dyed wool weft (36 to 44 threads per cm). Two fragments including one with a stepped pyrmaid and the other has three narrow bands 3 mm wide and 1.5 mm apart. Excavated from Embankment L7.



Textile (reg. no. 1933.507A) - Undyed wool warp (8 to 11 threads per cm), undyed wool wert (32 threads per cm), and wool dyed grey-blue (indigo shaded with a little madder) weft (40 threads per cm). A series f "Z's" are 3 mm apart. Excavated from Embankment L7.



Textile (reg. no. 1933.507c) - Undyed wool warp (10 - 11 threads per cm), undyed wool weft (28 threads per cm), and brown-purple dyed wool (48 threads per cm). Plain angle band 4.7 cm wide with arm lengths of 11.9 and 10.7 cm. The ends are cleft in the center to a depth of 2.5 to 3 cm. Excavated from Embankment L7.



Textile (reg. no. 1933.516) - pocket including undyed wool warp (6 - 8 threads per cm) and dark red wool warp (10 threads per cm). Blue-green wool weft (36 threads per cm), purple wool weft (16 threads per cm), and red wool weft (48 threads per cm). Pocket measures 20.7 by 9.7 cm.

Textile (reg. no. 1933.496) - undyed wool warp (11 threads per cm), undyed wool weft (40 threads per cm) and dyed wool weft (40 threads per cm) in mixed red (Polish cochineal), brown-purple (indigo shaded with more or less madder), and grey. Double wave pattern in the form of a twisted rope; the larger undyed interstices filled with red spots.



Textile (reg. no. 1933.494) - undyed wool warp (9 threads per cm), undyed wool weft (29 threads per cm),, and faded purple wool weft (30 to 36 threads per cm). Grey (faded purple) four-petaled flower measures 4.7 by 3.5 cm.



Textile (reg. no. 1933.520) - undyed linen warp (13 threads per cm), undyed linen weft (32 threads per cm), and blue (indigo) weft (32 cm threads per cm). Two groups of five blue bands (5 to 9 mm wide) and 5 mm apart in tapestry cloth.

Textile (reg. no. 1933.500) - Salmon pink (Madder) wool wawrp (10 - 11 threads per cm), undyed weft (52 threads per cm), pale red-purple (Indigo shaded with madder) weft (52 threads per cm), dark blue (indigo with madder) weft (52 threads per cm), dark gray (indigo with madder) and yellow weft (52 threads per cm). Grey and blue lanceolate leaves on a purple ground.



Textile (reg. no. 1933.495) - buff wool warp (12 threads per cm) possibly tinged pink from Kermes dye, buff-pink weft (36 to 38 threads per cm) and blue-grey (indigo) weft (36 to 38 threads per cm). The design of four petaled flowers and double volutes with filler..



Textile (reg. no. 1935.554) - undyed wool warp (14 threads per cm), undyed wool weft (36 threads per cm), and light purple & grey wool weft (36 threads per cm). The patter is mostly perished but was originally an "X" made of five large rectangles, 3.5 x 3.2 cm, connected corner to corner by four smaller ones (1.0 cm square).

Textile (reg. no. 1938.5493) - tan wool warp (7 threads per cm), dark blue wool weft (40 threads per cm), red wool weft (40 threads per cm), and faded wool weft (40 thread per cm). Three bands: dark blue (9.0 cm), red (5.4 cm) and faded blue and undyed (3.5 cm).



Textile (reg. no. 1938.5511) - Undyed wool warp (12 threads per cm), tan wool weft (40 threads per cm), dark brown wool weft (40 threads per cm), and purple-red wool weft (40 threads per cm). Nineteen narrow bands that do not follow an identifiable sequence.

Textile (reg. no. 1938.5606) - Undyed linen warp (50 threads per cm) and undyed linen weft (16 to 18 thread per cm). Rep cloth with bands of multiple wefts every third short. Plaine selvage. Warp end hemstitched. Self bands in groups of ten or twelve.

Textile (reg. no. 1938.5608) - undyed linen warp (20 threads per cm), undyed linen weft (14 threads per cm). Cloth with six self bands near the fringe. The fringe is hemstitched. Self-bands of four wefts carried together with the following series of shots of single wefts between 2, 4, 2, 2, 4. Fringe is 4.0 cm long.

Textile (reg. no. 1938.5683) - Wool warp (8 threads per cm) inclyding undyed, pale blue and browns. Wool weft (36 and 48 threads per cm) in mixed browns, pale blue, mixed red-tan, apricot, red, and yellow-tan. Blanket or curtain with 65 bands. Citadel necropolis tomb VII.



Textile (reg. no. 1938.5688) - Undyed wool warp (11 to 12 threads per cm) and green wool weft (60 threads per cm). Red wool cord applied to edge. Weft Twill.
