Lone Rock Petroglyph Site (23SR2091)

The Lone Rock petroglyph site was discovered in St. Clair County (Missouri) by Mr. Wayne Morton and researched by Mr. Doug Porter. Amateur archaeologists from the Southwest Missouri Chapter and Ozarks Chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society visited the site on 3 May 2008. Doug Porter guided me to the site on 28 May 2012. The site is on private property and is not open to the public.
