A total 23 Clovis points have been recorded from the Martens site. This includes 16 points from the Martens collection, 2 from the Morrow's excavation (WU), and 5 points in two private collections. There are 9 unbroken Clovis points from the site.

Proximal (bottom) fargment of a Clovis point showing reverse hinge fracture. Length = 4.1 cm, Width = 3.3 cm, Thickness = 7.5 mm; weight = 14.1 grams. This is the same artifact as O'Brien and Wood (1998:Figure 2.20a).










Clovis point. Length = 6.4 cm, Width = 2.6 cm, Thickness = 8 mm; weight = 14.8 grams. This is the same artifact as O'Brien and Wood (1998:Figure 2.25a).

Clovis point. Length = 6.1 cm, Width = 2.9 cm, Thickness = 7 mm; weight = 14.7 grams. This is the same artifact as O'Brien and Wood (1998:Figure 2.25c).








Clovis point. Length = 5.1 cm, Width = 2.0 cm, Thickness = 6 mm, Weight = 6.0 grams. This is the same artifact as O'Brien and Wood (1998:Figure 2.25d).
