Onima Pictograph Site, Aruba

The Onima Pictograph site is situated in a rock shelter on the island of Bonaire. The site is gated and protected in a national park.


A few pictographs are situated outside of the two main panels. These are two examples of pictographs outside the main panels. Scale is 50 cm.

Reinardo Nicolaas, our local guide to the site, touches "the face" the stalagmite near the two pictographs panels. It is likely that the stalagmite was reverred as a spirit being at the Onima site on the island of Bonaire.
