Tiraz textile fragment probably manufactured in Egypt and dating to the the Medieval Period. An Arabic inscription was executed in silvered threads (which have since oxidized). Golden threads created a decorative pattern - most of the gold has flaked off from the threads. Specimen 73.606 in the collection of the Textile Museum, Washington DC.
