Building a Japanese Persona
ICHIKAWA no Moromoto

|
I would be interested in offering a class to assist new comers (as well as inform current members) about creating a Japanese persona in the current middle ages. The class would outline Japanese history starting with the breaking ties with China and Korea to the opening of trade with Dutch and Portigese traders in the 1550s. I would also offer heraldic advice and teach the process of name creation. I would also cover the basics of garb creation and teach each student how to weave a pair of traditional Japanese sandles. Court ettiqute / SCA titles of address and protocol for Japanese people visiting a European court. Camping supplies and tent making. Armor creation and garb for use when armored.
