AboutDr. Long is an Associate Professor of English at St. Louis Community College—Meramec, where he teaches He is also editor and publisher of 2River, one of the oldest literary sites on the internet. Dr. Long is a runner—most recently, on April 19, 2009, he completed the Go! St. Louis Marathon—and during the summer months he rides his bicycle, self-supported, throughout the country. He has biked, for example, across Missouri from St. Louis to Clinton and from Clinton to St. Louis; across Iowa from Missouri Valley to LeClaire, and from St. Louis to Durango, Colorado.
