The Access Office website has answers to many questions.
The most frequent questions we receive involve testing accommodations:
How do I provide accommodated testing for students for online classes?
The campus testing centers can assist with accommodated testing if needed.
How can I give extended time?
The time allowed for an exam in Blackboard is set by the instructor. You can extend the time for individual students.
Can I require a student to use a lockdown browser?
Yes, STLCC uses Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor for online proctored experiences.
A student receives a reader and/or a scribe and cannot use my required lockdown browser. What are my options?
You can allow the student to test without the use of a lockdown browser, or you can contact your campus testing center to learn how we can help you with student accommodations.
